So a little while a go I rented the game Wet and I LOVED it. It was very fun and I like how they added in the slo-mo when you shoot. I thought this was a great game. What do other people think?

I've only played the demo so far, but friggin loved it! I'm waiting for a slot to come available in my gamefly cue so I can get it.

i am currently playing it its good but has its fair share of flaws most notably the repetitive game play and the buggy camera angles the bullet time is fun at first but is getting less appealing, that said i seriously enjoy the 70's Grindhouse feel of it which will most likely be enough to motivate me to finish it

I finished it on normal when it came out had a lot of fun with it. I keep meaning to get back and play it on the Golden Bullet difficulty. The on when on bullet = a kill but you also have no health so you need to keep your combo going so you dont get shot. Played a few levels of it and it is really fun.

I tried the demo, and while I enjoyed it, I got the feeling that it was going to get repetiive. Most demos of games that I get really excited for, I will end up playing over and over again (L4D, Arkham Asylum, CoD4, Halo 3, etc.). I didn't really feel the need to play this one even a second time.

I could be wrong though. Obviously a demo can't always capture the feel for an entire game, and I liked the Kill Bill/The Matrix feel that it had. If I used a game rental service of any type, I'd definitely give it a try.

I played the demo, too. To me, "Wet" seems like basically a clumsier, less-fun version of "Stranglehold." If you're thinking about buying this game, check out the "Stranglehold" demo first. The game is old, but it's still on the XBL demo list. It's the same game as "Wet" but at this point it would be about 40 bucks cheaper.

When I first played the demo I was in love with the game, but when I played the retail copy my love quickly died. I will admit I absolutely loved the style of the game, loved the soundtrack and thought Rubi was a pretty bad ass character. But where it lost it for me was the repetition and control "jankyness."

The "kill rooms" got old real fast. After about three levels of being boxed in and shooting the same bad guys and then a room "boss" with a gatling gun grew old, and quick. The controls also grew on my nerves. I cannot tell you how many times I died while trying to make a simple jump.

This is also not to mention the end boss QTE battle... If they fix some of the problems for WET2 (if it comes out, the ending suggested so) I may enjoy it more. In my opinion I can only recommend it as a rent.

its a game where everything feelslike a good idea for the first five minutes but when done over the 8-15 hours it may take you to complete the game it loses its charm pretty quickly. i found myself going into the options every other chapter and turning off

the grain
the music
the vocal track (theres only so many times i can hear a random asian women go 1-2-**** you)

what was left is the bones of the game and while it isn't terrible it is by now means good - rent it for a bit of fun and 400 points of not to taxing achievements but i would not buy this game
