The date was September 17th. It was almost exactly one week before the biggest release in video game history and everybody with a 360 was salivating uncontrollably with nothing but daydreams about Master Chief and how epic finishing the fight would be.

Then it hit. The fan.

A crappy quality video from a cell phone of the second biggest spoiler of all time took the internet by storm. Could it be? Somebody had actually gotten a hold of the biggest release in history and had the audacity to post a video a week early of the game ending that everybody had been looking forward to playing for years. It sure seemed that way, but unfortunately nobody had any way of proving whether it was legit.

Gamers were forced to make one of the most difficult decisions in their life: refrain from watching the most popular video in the history of the internet or give in to your cat-like curiosity and indulge in the glory that is the Halo 3 ending.

So what did you do? Did you look and spoil the ending of Halo 3 for yourself, or were you strong enough to resist temptation?

Man, Adam had it easy. All he had to do was resist a stupid apple.

yah, I didn't watch the ending, but I don't think I would have cared cuz it was pretty lame anyways.

I was thinking only of games.

I managed to stay away from the internet after I heard about those leaks ahead of time. Even so, I accidentally picked up a bit about Halo 3, specifically that Sgt. Johnson and Miranda Keyes die.

Though I'd rather Halo 3 be spoiled for me then the end of the last Harry Potter book. That book was great.

I honestly don't care about spoilers, so when this hit, I wasn't bothered. But Podtacular went into shutdown so nobody would post it on the forums.

For all the people who were actually expecting anything other than the typical franchise-eque ending, LOL.

My 360 died the weekend before Halo 3 came out so I was worried that it would get spoiled through some podcast or forum post. Luckily I did the towel trick and got the 360 to work for 5 more days. The day after I finished the game, the 360 RROD again and I sent it in.
