The more I listen to this show, the more worried I get about the sanity of the crew members :lol:

I'd love to see more PS2 games get ported, and if they managed to get the God of War games from PS2 to PS3 in 15 weeks, and it's disc-based, then surely they could do the same thing with other PS2 games, but more importantly, make them digital downloads for the PSN store. People have asked for PS2 games to be on the store, so wouldn't it make sense to, if they can. The only foreseeable problem is the amount of memory needed for them.

omg - this episode is insane, with the licking and the riming! All i can say is, thank god for Frawlz. And that working like a baby jab is still making me chuckle.

By the way, I love Peggle too, but i'm playing it on the ipod touch. Is it on PSN?

By amount of memory, do you mean hard disk space? The PS2 games aren't too big, I think. DVD's hold something like 7 GB of data, and most games were well below that. In fact, I'm sure I heard somewhere that a lot of the current gen games don't hold more than 5-6 GBs of space, so I imagine PS2 games aren't that big. If you think about it, they were able to put Burnout Paradise in the PSN store, as well as SOCOM, and I would wager that those two games are bigger in size than most PS2 games, so it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

That being said, you have to think that the folks at Sony are working on bringing PS2 games to the PS store.I wouldn't be surprised to see them there within the next year.

Forgot about Burnout Paradise being on there. If that can go on, then PS2 games shouldn't be too hard. If they're that small, then surely it's not going to be hard to but on the store, and won't take up too much space. Seems a practical thing to do, is sure to get profit from newer gamers hearing about some of the classics like Shadow of the Colossus and ICO and such :thumbsup:

It seems like Japan's better at creating cutesy, family-oriented games, e.g., DDR, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Patapon, and Cooking Mama.

Just wondering something, Blu Crew? Do you guys ever go through your friends list and delete anyone who hasn't been on PSN for longer than, say, four weeks or something like that? I tried adding PMPB and Rothbart (not Frawlz, seems he doesn't actually play PS3 games) a while back and couldn't because y'all's friends list was full. If you guys do maintenance some day, hit me up. I've played with PacMan before, and would like to play with Rothbart too. Even Frawlz, if you ever decide to make some time to play online with your PS3, add me.

The sort of stunned pause just after Frawlz said "lick" was priceless. You can tell we don't have a script or anything...I seriously did not know what to say.

I will be re-checking my friends list on the PSN and Xbox 360 within the next two weeks. Anyone who has been gone more than a month will be removed and I'll add some of the people who have been asking to get on my list(s).

My PS3 is on its way back to get fixed again. Sigh. Maybe there IS something to the firmware/UC2 rumors, I don't know. What I do know is that I have the following games to play and its starting to piss me off.

DragonAge: Origins (Should have bought it for the PC)
Tekken 6
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Way of the Samurai 3
Demon's Souls
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
Wet

Hopefully everything will be in working order again within the next 2 shows so that I can actually talk about these games and perhaps mitigate the emotional damage that occurs when the Blu show cast are not all (2/3) playing games. I mean I have played them all now, but not on my PS3, and not enough that I want to run my mouth about'em...yet.

I think the main problem with the disc drives is the firmware affecting them. Here is a link that says that the newest FW makes the DD act differently to reduce load times:

Add Uncharted 2 into the mix and I can see why there'd be problems. I don't really blame U2 too much since it was so d*mn awesome. When I fix my Disc Drive I'll try my best not to play U2 too much (that's going to be hard). Maybe Naughty Dog should patch the game with an optional install to the Hard Drive so the Disc Drive doesn't work as much? :undecided:

PS2 games are all in SD so they should be much lower file sizes than the likes of games on demand on the 360

I saw frawlz online playing Motorstorm2. I don't know if he was actually playing it, or if the disk was just loaded.

The show used to dick and fart jokes along with games, now that 2 PS3's are down the show is just dick and fart jokes. I really like dick and fart jokes, but there are so many games coming out and y'all aren't able to play them. I really want to hear Pacman's impressions of Demon's Souls

I don't know how believable a site called Movies.com's PS3 news can be, but then again in the link they talk about it as a Blu Ray Movie player. I personally buy it, does Sony check how the FW updates act on every PS3 SKU? (I doubt it since there is alot and the older ones have stopped being made) I don't exactly buy the whole "The FW update does not affect the PS3 in a bad way" quote from Sony. I don't think they always tell the truth.

It might be a coincidence, but MY PS3's disc drive went out in the middle of playing Uncharted 2. I decided to relace the drive myself and the first game I played was... WWE SVR 2010, followed by Uncharted 2, and it's playing just like it should, as are the rest of the games on my library . I think I'm just gonna chuck it up to coincidence. BTW, I have the 80 gig model with backwards comp.

Frawlz is the funniest podcaster he was the best one on the pink show and the blue show have a good team
