Well, it comes/came out today on WiiWare, and I plan on getting it...but is it 1200 or 1500 points? I've heard both prices from different places.

The game looks great to me; what about you? What do you guys think?

From what I've seen, it's not too appealing to me. I would have preferred a more traditional fighter, not a beat-em-up type system that this looks like it has. Plus the Pokemon Ranch graphics really don't seem to fit this kind of game.

I'll admit that some of the models look abysmal, but the style works fairly well for 80% of them. The whole "lol you're a toy pokemon!" concept is fairly stupid, and just an excuse for the lack of customization of stats, moveset, and even levelling up, that's been a staple of pretty much every pokemon game.

That aside, I love the game. :lol: I prefer the beat-em-up style to a traditional side-by-side fighter, myself. Wouldn't really like Po-K.O.-mon much. I just realized that I can use my debit card to get the 300 more points ($3? Seriously, I can spare that.) and get the game this afternoon.

My single greatest annoyance is that this game, despite being available only online, doesn't have any online multiplayer. I want to be able to play against my fellow Wii owners! :D
