For the first time ever, all four of us from the podcast met face to face, and recorded a show in the same studio. It was a really different experience than our typical phone line arrangement.

For a while, folks have asked us for a one hour show. Others have asked us to give them a show with fewer bells and whistles. While we have no plans to change the regular format of the show or its overall production value, we thought we'd take this opportunity to throw a bone to both of those camps. Here's your show. Just so you all know, theres things called "smartboards" used in classrooms. they are touch sensitive boards that are hooked to the teacher's computer, and displayed on a projector.

Hey Doc...I have a quick suggestion for the rockband drum pads. I don't know if it'll work, but when I in HS we used to buy snare mufflers for our Snare Drums. It would dramatically reduce the sound. That being said though...they're pretty thick. You may need to hit them a little harder to get them use if, if it doesn't block the sensitivity all together. Performance or sound? :)

Hearing Alex's story on strumming I feel I have to confess...Last night a couple friends of mine and I were out at Best Buy. I have never played Rockband or Guitar Hero. We noticed that Guitar Hero 3 was set up on the 360. So we went over and decided to try the Demo. My friend Nona starts on it and is boo'd off the stage after less than a quarter of the song. So I get up to try...same thing happens. So then my non gamer friends gets up there and finishes the song. I was like what the hell. She did another song and noticed she was strumming.
