Regarding MGS4: I posted on this over on GCN, but there is clear evidence that MGS4 will stay exclusive. What "evidence" is there of it going multiplatform. I am not familiar with the OXM stuff mentioned, what is it? Rothbart, I was just referring to Konami's history of putting "exclusive" games on other platforms such as "Two snakes." Plus, if there's only 5 million PS3 owners when MSG4 comes out, that will put a lot of pressure on Konami to release it on other platforms. I could be wrong. But not likely.

Another Great show guys!! I've commented on iTunes and recommended it to friends all the time. My sister hates me right now because she can't get Ring of Fire out of her head - LOL.
Personally I do blame Peter Moore. I guess due to that fact my 360 had been in for repairs for a month when he announced he was leaving, then got eaten by that bear. But the 360 is back, so hit me up for some Rainbow - Can't stop playing that one, especially with the new maps.

But yeah, play the single player campaign, download the free multiplayer map packs, and then play online with your friends [assuming you have any]. After a few matches, you're hooked!

Okay, okay, this is "old news" by now but I've got to do two things before we move on to Episode 4.

1. Call out Doc for what exactly Peter Moore did to make him worthy of the gushing you gave him. I mean he wasn't "all that". Tell me specifically what he did. I'm not looking for abstracts, I'm talking specific. And any proof that he was responsible for what you name would be appreciated. IMO, he was a less-slimey front man than a lot of companies have. He was personable. I gather he could rally the troops and hold himself well. Other than that, I'm not sure what else you could definitively pin on him. Being above people that makes thing happen doesn't automatically mean you get the credit... I mean look at our President.

2. Lono, you deserve crazy props for standing up to Doc and I 100% agree with everything you said on the Peter Moore topic. Doc, if you give Peter Moore the benefit of the doubt that he did all those great things then he absolutely deserves to be connected to the not so great things... and the numbers Lono couldn't think of on the spot were the total system sales projections that they were leading the press into and then actually coming in millions of units lower (http://www.betanews.com/article/Microsoft_Slashes_Xbox_360_Sales_Estimates/1169838634). They did squander their year-long headstart that should've made dominating this generation a LOT easier... as it is, they're having to constantly check their rear view mirror to head off Nintendo as they're trying to pass... While I have no indication that Don Mattrick is the guy for the job, I think Microsoft isn't any worse off without Moore. Crediting Moore with how the RRoD warranty extension was handled is kinda silly... they're doing their darnedest to keep from having to deal with a class action lawsuit that might involved publicly revealing their failure rates... and since Sony's gone ahead and mentioned that the PS3's failure rate sits at about 0.2% (http://news.spong.com/article/13491), it would be a pretty devastating PR blow to be forced to have to publicly admit your product is in the neighborhood of TWO ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE more prone to failure than your competition.

No guys, I never meant to add content to the show, I just wanted to comment in the show notes before we moved on to threads about a new episode.

I know it's a year old, but I just signed up for the RSS feed and started listening to all the podcasts starting from the first one.

What I wanted to say is... Respect +10 for Doc (if I am not mistaken, I repeat, I am new), his speech about how parenting always comes first and how he has to put the controller down because someone is crying was really cool. I never thought that a person so into gaming (C'mon, you have a website dedicated to it) could possibly be such a great parent. Any father I know (Including mine) when gaming, usually tell their kids to shut up if they start crying for some reason.

Great show and I'll be sure to listen to every single podcast up to episode 45 in the following weeks.

I know this is a little late to be saying this but I just listened to this episode today and all I can say is WTF??? Seriously bashing west virginia for what? And I am so sure the states you guys live in are so superior in every way. And thats there is nothing wrong there at all. Seriously you guys just started bashing west virginia out of no where saying that everyone from west virginia plays a banjo and is innerbred and that we don't have internet.
