This guy does some pretty amazing things with the Wiimote, including a projection whiteboard and finger detection. The coolest I've seen is the head tracking VR display, which can be seen in the video I'm posting below. Head over to the website to check out his other two videos. Hopefully, Nintendo or some other game designers have seen this, and have gotten some ideas.

these things are all really cool.. but I can only see head-tracking as being used for games. (maybe the whiteboard one could make your tv a touch screen but I'm doubtful).

Thanks for sharing these, they're all awesome ideas!

this is really possible and if nintento really wanted take gaming to a more "physically involved" level then this would do it quite nicely. you could actually duck for cover and move around interactively. lots of potential with that.

There's plenty of potential with the head-tracking VR for gaming - especially since I'd take 3d over HD any day :) then again, 3d HD would probably blow my mind.
The whiteboard and such could have gaming potential, but I can't see anyone actually taking advantage of that. Seeing what the guy was doing reminded me of Surface, only $9,000 cheaper.
