btw the PS3 controller in the Xbox 360 case is my desktop =]

The only way to master the rts on a console is use the chat pad on 360 and ps3 as the controls and the buttons as the mouse buttons and the left stick as the mouse.

It hasn't shown up on my itunes yet... what's the deal??

Sorry to disappoint, but we are not scripted at all. We have a list of topics, but that's about it. And if we did have a script, the person that writes for me would be fired.

OoOOo a 2-Mod response.... iPlayPC - you've been told!

I assume that downloading old episodes (that you have not downloaded before) helps boost Sarcastic's itunes ratings. If so you should encourage more people to do so as your Podcast's age better than some others because it still stays funny. I only joined the party at episode 10 but have since gone back and downloaded ep 1-9 and they were no less enjoyable. Anyone that has not already downloaded all of your parody songs should be encouraged to do so for similar reasons.
You don't do enough to big yourselves up, I'm all for modesty but if you are good (which you are) there is no shame in letting everyone else know. You should encourage the community to do what ever we can to support you guys because I do not see anyone that would have a problem doing extra downloads or whatever we can to help.

I think that Dean Takashi is a twat who reviewed mass effect only 7 hours in because he wanted attention. like Lono said, anyone who takes the piss out of great games want attention. It's obvious. When that guy did the Halo 3 review calling it average, Lono tried (and failed to) defend him but Doc, Alex and Dave said he was bashing the game.

I am thinking, maybe Dean Takashi wants attention so he can be a gaming defender by suing Jack Thompson. Now that would be funny :D

Edit: anyway if you guys think that Dean Takashi will go to the gaming press and say that he was just doing it for attention then we will be shocked!

First of all, thank you for making Lono's head THAT MUCH BIGGER.

There are people out there that help spread the word, and as a result the site gets more and more great community members each and every month. With regard to inflating the download numbers, we'd prefer to see how many people are really listening. If they were artificially inflated we'd have no way of knowing for sure. If we ever win (a contest for which there is no defined prize) we'd want to do it on the merit of the show. While that might never happen against coroporate foes like 1up, its something to shoot for, and a philosophy that's served us well.

I do think you are correct though, in that we could do a better job of suggesting ways that interested parties could help to grow SG. The site has moved from infancy into a really big fat toddler. We're still getting our wits about us, but I also understand that a lot of people would love to do whatever they could to promote this site. So point taken. We'll talk about this and come up with a plan...

By the way, I didn't say that this episode was great, probably my favorite since the Lono vs. Alex (Superslick) thing. Also the "Martini Time" Was short but hilarious!

The skeptic in me doubts that so much but this birdie has never lied, so I'm gonna say 50.0000000000000001% are Gold. Making all my "half a BILLION" quotes in my rant more like "quarter of a BILLION" which, well, is still a metric crapload of cash to be raking in just for the honor of getting demos early and playing online multiplayer.
