I'm looking into getting a flashcart for the Nintendo DS. Anyone know of a good one?

R4 and M3 Simply are teh best...

They're also the exact same...

Made by the same lab, different names...

R4 is the more popular one...

I own the M3, friends own the R4... No problems with either...

And yes, they both are the exact same...

R4DS is a great flash cart that has its firmware updated often and plays all the roms ive tried on it. Make sure you get a name brand micro sd because i bought a pqi off of ebay and it wont hold a format after a few months : (

I`m using the M3 Simply and it`s great. R4 is supposed to be the exact same thing, but I believe it gets firmware updates more often than the M3 does. M3 also has a new slot 1 card called M3 Real.

I bought a DS-Xtreme a year ago when they first came out and were the only good slot-1 options. I just recently bought 2 CycloDS flashcarts for my friends because I think they are slightly better than the R4s. I've done quite a bit of research and I think that CycloDS is the best with R4 as a close second.

i like m3 because it is very good one to use. oh right and the homebrew works better on that than on the R4

It looks like M3 and R4 are the most recommended, with M3 being slightly more so. Thanks guys! I'll look it up.

I need to get one, but 100$ for that and a flash card is a bit much right now

Wowowow, zbiggie. They are WAAAY less than $100 for both together. Less than $50, if you shop around.

Mine was about $50 with the micro SD card and then $10 more for express shipping.

Exactly. That's about what I'm paying for mine.
