View Full Version : Zack and Wiki - a hidden treasure
SpecJoe Magic 01-10-2008, 06:52 AM This game came out of nowhere for me. I realize that there are probably some people that knew about it and anticipated it for months in advance, but I didn't even know about its existence until very recently. It's a very pleasant surprise, and I hope that it gets the sales and recognition that it deserves. I used to play a lot of point and click adventure games on PC several years ago, and it's nice to see a new game that uses that style of play on a console. I'm a big fan of the way that the Wii Remote is implemented to solve the puzzles. It's a refreshing and original gaming experience in an industry that is sometimes running rampant with sequels. What do you think about Zack and Wiki?
It's a great game, humorous and challenging. One of the best Wii games to date, go buy it now.
strika234 01-10-2008, 07:32 AM is it really worth the 60 something cost?
Where are you from? And yes, it is.
strika234 01-10-2008, 07:39 AM I think I wrote on my profile that I hail from toronto, Canada
here, its like 59.99 plus tax (which is like 14%)
Yousty 01-10-2008, 09:33 AM is it really worth the 60 something cost?
That's where video game rental stores come in handy;)
The game is definitely worth a rent.
strika234 01-10-2008, 04:52 PM will do- but how long is it about?
35 hours is the minimum length.
strika234 01-10-2008, 08:21 PM then how the f*ck do I rent it????
SWSilentkiller 01-10-2008, 11:36 PM It's an ok game but (I'm probably going to be flamed for this) Not the greatest game I have played, I don't like it as much as most people
I would also have to agree that this is perhaps one of the, if not the, best game available on the Wii. It definitely belongs up there with the likes of Galaxy and Corruption... this is an awesome game...
strika234 01-11-2008, 07:03 AM is ento joking? is it really 35 hours minumum?!
No, everything that I have heard says it is a pretty long game... I have not completed it, but I could see it easily going that long...
Yousty 01-11-2008, 09:24 AM then how the f*ck do I rent it????
I said rent it, because I don't want you to go out and drop 50 bucks on a game that you really don't like. This game definitely isn't for everybody. A lot of people don't like point and click puzzle based games so I didn't want to tell you to buy it and then it turns out you hate it.
rent it. if you like it, buy it.
strika234 01-11-2008, 06:51 PM that seems like a better strategy, and i'll definitely give it a look when I get the chance.
