View Full Version : Linked Titles
iPlayPC 01-10-2008, 09:20 PM I just think it's cool that many of the new titles have links on them reffering to the reason why they have that title. Good job.
And btw, there have been a lot of new titles recently.
Shane86 01-10-2008, 09:22 PM Oh yeah hadn't even noticed that :D
shouldn't this be in feedback?
iPlayPC 01-10-2008, 09:25 PM I couldn't decide... but I guess someone should bump it there, yeah.
SWSilentkiller 01-10-2008, 10:19 PM Mine is linked, I wonder who put it there?
Mallico 01-10-2008, 11:22 PM Haha, way cool, I want one. XD
Edit: LOL I have one, and I love it.
Canuck 01-11-2008, 12:07 AM Wait, Im a little confused. How do you get those custom titles? I dont see it in the options menu.
Mallico 01-11-2008, 02:06 AM I think the mods or admins assign them.

You've been here since July last year, made 536 posts, and you didn't know that?! I am going to cut up your Gamercard, and you are going to hang your head in shame. Remove yourself from my sight!
:D
Rekenmachine 01-11-2008, 04:51 AM I think it's Rothbart....
strika234 01-11-2008, 06:22 AM he's been given out a lot of titles lately.
still, good job for putting a link so we can see what you're talking about
chrono's was the best.
The site admins have the access to alter the custom titles... I am still waiting for Rothbart to start screwing with mine.

Lol, well custom titles only started showing up en masse about a month ago :D
Bacontastic 01-11-2008, 10:12 AM *ahem* I'd really like a custom title...>_>

iPlayPC 01-11-2008, 02:28 PM *ahem* I'd really like a custom title...>_>
You could be title whore 2 (Rekenmachine)
Garwalker 01-11-2008, 02:41 PM Great. Thanks alot people. I never knew those quotes came from prior posts. Looking back at mine, I'm sure there are several that could come back and bite me on the butt. Now I'll be self conscious when I put up a post.
Looking back at Chrono's, his is definitely the best.
I hope my title doesn't now become "Bite me on the butt".
Bacontastic 01-11-2008, 02:43 PM You could be title whore 2 (Rekenmachine)
Or not :p

DING DING DING DING!!!! We have a winner!!!!
Yes, wearing memorable quotes as a badge of honor (or shame) is a great (and fun) way of gently urging people to post responsibly. For the record, people posting silly intentionally to get a title from it not only won't get a title from it, but they'll get an entirely much less desirable title instead. No whoring please.
I think it's Rothbart....
And another winner!!!!
For the record, it's all meant in good fun. If someone doesn't like what got stuck in their title, maybe they should've have said it in a public forum...
I try to strictly stay to exact quotes, but occasionally I'll need to add a word or two to make it a sentence... words like: said, thinks, etc.
I'm glad people find them as funny/interesting as I do. And of course, if anyone is truly offended at the utter-crap they posted (that I promptly put in their title), PM me and I'll see what I can do. No promises. :D

Well, thanks for clearing that up. I was always wondering how to get those titles. My curiosity is now quelled :D

Except I didn't do all of them... chances are if yours is "linked", it was me... I didn't do IPlayPC or Rekenmachine (or however you spell it)'s.

Pablos102030 01-12-2008, 01:30 AM Rothbart, all this power and even you still don't has custom title? You can do better than "SG Admin".
1,534 posts, none of them memorable.

Idunno about that, your post #952 was lagging behind the others...

Sadly, I'm approaching 16,000 posts on the main GamerCast Network site... that's a lot of posts!
NecrisJ1MM 01-12-2008, 02:56 AM Holy cow! You got almost twice as much as the next guy.. that is a lot of posts indeed!
ShockwaveLover 01-12-2008, 02:59 AM Rothbart: Bringing ranting and medicore posts to a whole new level, and proving the old adage - "Quantity is it's own quality".

Yea, I got mine from DDL for actually doing something, not just spitting out some incoherent sentences :p.
