Hey guys,

A friend of mine purchased a ROCK XTREME laptop with a built in HD-DVD drive but apparently it wont play a film. He is using Windows Media Player and the HD DVD in question is "300". He runs Windows Vista Home Premium.

Anyone got any suggestions or advice on how or what software to use?

He spent around £1,190 on the laptop so is not overly keen to get Power DVD Ultra for another £70.

Thanks :p

The only thing I can really think that could be buggering it up, could be the following two things.

1- The driver for the HDDVD player isn't installed.
2- The HDDVD codecs required to play the film aren't on his laptop.

google is your friend. ;)
