If you thought the Xbox Live outage over the holidays was frustrating, get ready for some anger management classes. Microsoft is intentionally shutting down Xbox Live for the year!
Why you’ll be playing a whole lot of single player games in 2008, after the jump!
“It’s not fun anymore”
That’s what Microsoft had to say about their race against Sony for the best online gaming platform.
“We’re tired of the whiny subscribers, complaining about outages, slow service and the price. I mean, come on, you get demo downloads days before silver members and don’t even get me started on all the free gamer pics you can get! “
Microsoft, embroiled in lawsuits and involved in a shortage of qualified tech support has decided to give it a year.
“Let the fanboys play Call of Duty 4 single player only. Then they’ll come crawling back to us.”
