That's true Viatrophy, but for topics such as violence in videogames, and it's effects on us as gamers, serious dscussion would be appreciated. Maybe a simpler solution would be to include on the thread title a disclaimer, like 'Serious discussion only'?

If i have a serious opinion I am always happy to give one. But then again I usually joke about those too. I try my best, damnit.

If you post a stupid topic, its gonna get stupid answers. You could add "serious dicussions only" but its relly not necissary....

If you did have this "Serious Section", you'd have to request access to it by the mods. That way, only people who they know wouldn't spam or be non-serious would get in.

Doubtful it'd be VIP only, people would be all whiny and bitch about it. But a forum section for serious disscusion here in SG would be a good idea. Such topics include, but not limited to:

-Religion
-Politics
-Weather?
-I'm all out of topics, but i'm sure there are plenty

Problem is with things like Religion, Most sites don't like it being spoke about (not in the offensive way) but its just such a bad topic for discussion as most times it'll end up in a argument and a lot of bad comments being made.
