As for the tip thing, I myself work as a Pizza Driver. Dave, I'm disappointed in you. Those tips are pretty much what we live on, our paychecks go for bills and vehicle upkeep.

I am so pissed off at Dave, mostly 'cos being an arse to a pizza guy if just unfair. Also I admit that I do play games on easy but i'm like 12 and I got so much school work. But what authority allows you to just play on easy. My dad played Halo 2 on easy and died within 5 seconds of starting a fight. But then again, I do like playing mobile phone games on harder difficulties mostly because I'm a Mobile Gamer.

Am I the only one here not surprised by Dave not tipping? I still cant believe it Dave. I will only give a bad tip (If you can consider and amount of money "bad") if the service sucked and the person was a real tool. Also the whole "I dont have money" thing doesn't work. You'll be payed off in quality in service if you tip nicely. You never know when that waiter becomes owner and remembers how you tip.

Usually tipped 1 to 2 dollars for pizza when I was younger. After delivering for Dominos I now tip at least 3 dollars, especially since gas is ridiculously expensive now. Rural starting and stopping a car for 4-5 hours every evening is one of the quickest ways to trash your car. They need the money.

Dave, take your PSP/DS and kill the absolutely unbearable 5 minutes you'd have to wait while the poor guy drove 2 blocks and meet him at the door.

I think that was the quickest belly-laugh from a SG podcast I've ever had..."Jack Thompson hit in the face with a shovel!" I love it! :D

First of all, the guy phoned you when he was leaving, any normal person would know how long it is going to take for someone to get to their house from the pizza store. You should have estimated what time he would have arrived at your house. Most pizza places are approximately 5-15 minutes away, so you should have been waiting at the doors 5-15 minutes after the guy called you. Second, if your going to order food to be delivered then you should tip the delivery driver, it is just common courtesy. Third, if you don't want to tip then go to the pizza store, it is just as easy, it saves complaining and you don't have to tip anyone.

The only time I've ever considered not tipping the pizza guy was once when I called to get it delivered, finished watching my Lost Season 3: Disc 1, went to go put it in the mailbox, and on the way back the pizza guy happened to pull up in front of the house. The butthead didn't even get out of his car. He just rolled down the window and handed me my pizza. *shrug* I still gave him $2, but it might have been more if he had actually opened the door.

Yeah, it's the principle. My nearest pizza house is less than a minute away by car, five minutes by foot, but I still tip 'em.

He's not going to do anything wrong to the pizza, but 'stiffers' as we call them are last priority on our list. I have to agree that the guy was a little stingy with his minutes, it doesn't take a lot of time to call someone and let them know you're there.
Were I working and unable to call you when I got there for whatever reason, I would've apologized like 3 times when I called from the store, then got to the place as soon as possible. I know some pizza guys can be jerks, I'm certainly not one of them.

Saving some funny stories for Paul Christy only (rather than posting them all) is an awesome idea. The intro to the podcast was awesome.

The rest of the show was great as usual. FMJ sounded a bit like he was covering his ass about Halo 3 on Easy, but that's probably because he was. :p

You know, Dave, you could have offered to tip an extra $2 to compensate for the minute. Sounds like the delivery guy was being a little stingy, but you can't really demand otherwise of him, can you? You shouldn't have told him to call you at all.

This is a long time overdue. To all of you guys and gals that not only support this show by listening, but also get involved in these discussions of the show here in the forums.... I just want to say thank you. Nothing could have made me feel better coming out of a flu-induced fever delrium than to see more than 5 pages of comments on a show that we were VERY unsure about when we first recorded it.

Thanks for making a couple of goofballs feel like a million bucks every week. When our everyday lives encroach on creating a new episode, a lot of times its you guys that pushes it through.
