True, but it also lost. I was TRYING to be subtle in my support for Blu-Ray over Hd DVD, but I'm afraid that didn't last long : (

Anyway, many essential technologies in the VHS were licensed from Sony, even though it was competing with Beta. win win.

I understood it too, but it still didn't make sense...Microsoft wouldn't incorporate a competing format into it's system. :p

Yeah, they usually buy the patent and then pretend that it was theirs all along :P
