I need help deciding wether to get a psp or ds...its really split for me, I need some other opinions on the subject.

I could use the same advice. Thinking of buying the PSP just because I want to play GOW and Crisis Core.

Ok then. Right now there's a 2 models of PSP. PSP-1000 (Original) and PSP-2000 (Slim). Were there any announcements of another model? If not then I'm getting the Slim.

Sees as how the slim just came out Fall 2007, no, I doubt a new model will be annouced ever.

I am hoping to get the PSP Slim and Lite but I also want the game Final Fantasy Tactics The War of the Lions, and the Monster Hunter Freedom 2 game is looking pretty sweet. Rainbow Six Vegas is great as well. But the game I want most is probably Crisis Core for the PSP because I love Final Fantasy

I bought a DS so my anwser is simple.

A PSP.

You can then use it for putting films on. I have a great piece of software for ripping your dvds to your PSP and it is really good value.

Also works for ipods etc as well as simple AVI files on your computer.

Personally I feel that a PSP is far more rounded and has many more uses. I think it also depends on whether you will or do own a PS3. If so then I wold definitely choose the PSP over the DS for all the integrated features.

I have both a PSP and a DS Lite, last month my DS Lite died, I don't miss it.

I have both, the DS is durable, but not many good games. The PSP, however, has the best games but pretty much breaks when you look at it.

I have both and I haven't bought a PSP game in a while (not enough money), however I like the DS because there are quite a few good games on it if you look for them.

So if you look around you will see that there are actually quite a few good DS games. Not to mention the new Advance Wars came out not to long ago and Apollo Justice (sequel to the Phoenix Wright series) is coming out next month.
I will be honest, I am looking forward to Crisis Core for the PSP.

My list of bought DS Lite games is muc larger than yours.

And my list of pirated ones are much much larger than that.

But I still don't miss it.

i really want phoenix wright, but...grrr! I never will...
