The new Lost: Via Domus game actually looks pretty decent. Sure, the graphics aren't great, but come on! You gotta admit, for a TV tie in, it's not that bad. Plus, I could play for hours just running around the island and killing boars. Horray!

I think it actually looks decent, especially for a TV tie-in. May be worth a rent.

Unfortunately, they didn't nab any of the actual actors in the game, so all the voices are impersonations, which really detracts from the Lost experience. It should still be alright despite that.

Not to sure of it at the moment. I mean if you want a game like it but on ps3 i would recommend Uncharted. But if you don't have a ps3 i think it will be fun if they get gameplay good :D

There are a few actors from the show that recorded dialog for the game. I believe it was the actors that play Claire, Desmond, and Sun on the show if my memory serves me correctly.

I'm a huge fan of Lost so I might try the game if the reviews are decent.

I was also amazed at the screen shots of the game.

For a tie in game I expected it to be terrible.
But it does seem like a rent so far.

That never really looked like it'd be all that good anyway. And it was made by some unknown developer.

This is made by Ubisoft, which at least has a decent track record (King Kong wasn't all that bad), and if you remember reading the previews for 24: The Game, they all had concerns about many parts of the game, which rarely happens since previews these days are more of a sales pitch.

I honestly hope that this turns out well; they've actually got the (ingenious) Lost writers writing the story (and possibly the dialogue) for this, which automatically makes the game worth a try, unless the gameplay really sucks.

The faces kinda suck, but the lighting and lush environment is actually shaping up pretty well in this game.

I'm glad to hear they at least got some of the voices.

Locke (and to a lesser extent, Jack) has/have God-awful voice acting in the game. Hopefully those voices will balance things out.

Yeah you have a point I guess. Im just not sure I can take anymore hurt from a bad TV to game conversion.

Maybe its time to move on and give it a try :)

Same here...but I'll at least rent it still.

Don't you play as a new character and it's supposed to explain more of the secrets? I might have to play it just for that....

the only problem i have with it is the fact that they havent actually got all the original people to do it. I dunno i have a bad feeling about this game as ubisoft have made a game based off CSI recently and it did terribly. On the other hand a lost game might be good if they actually try and make a good game and not another thing to cash in on the brand.

Lost is ACTUALLY convertintogameable. CSI, not so much.
