Ive been playing the demo and by heck is it good! :D So very addictive and best of all, the demo save work in the full game so you can just continue from where it leaves off ^_^

I defy anyone thats played it not to hum "Patapatapatapon" randomly while out for a stroll. Its almost tempting to get in a fight just so you can say "Pon - Pon - Pata - Pon" in time with your punches :P

This game looks pretty cool it's very unique and makes a nice change of pace from the racing games i play on my psp.

Anyway, is anyone playing it? Opinions? I'm absolutely addicted to this title. So much charm and gameplay. I'm at the third boss, at the lvl 3 version of the first boss and the lvl 2 version of the second boss. I almost have a full squad of patapons and I'm about 4 hours played through.

I don't want it to end!

Just finished the third boss tonight. What I love about this game is that you need to revisit previous bosses to bolster your army. Sure, it's a cheap trick to stall progress but the gameplay is so good that it's a complete joy to do so.

The battle just after that boss sees some serious equipment powerups. Definitely my PSP game of the year so far.

It's a great game, i bought Patapon the day it came out and i have put a lot of hours into it, anyone who has a psp should go and buy it now, and at £20.00 it really is a great buy.

So agreed. I downloaded the demo off the PS Store today, and I'm hooked. It's so original. Quite how they came up with the idea I have no clue, but then I suppose it was made by the same sutdio as LocoRoco.

Patapon, simply put, is one of the quirkiest, funnest, and most bizarre games ever to grace the industry, let alone the PSP.

Anyone played it? I can't get past the level where you fight the first giant animal-dinosaur-boss. I come in at full strength, defend a lot, but can't seem to win. It eventually eats all of my melee units, torches my spearmen, and then I end up playing for a half an hour with one archer left. It's getting frusterating.

mix your orders around or just make some more unit types. Great game tho

I don't want to do the second boss again because he'll just end up eating everyone but I did the first one again.

I don't remember the first boss being able to eat your units, the second definitely can though. I relied on archer(yaripon?) triple shot on fever while the others distracted it and protected the archers with shields.

Every time I close my eyes I hear "Pata Pata Pata Pon". It's driving me crazy!

I know, I had to rebuild most of my army after that battle. My archers were the only ones to survive.

finally! i found somthing like this i've been looking 4 this 4 a while! this game is awesome except 4 3 levels (so far) the level where u have 2 continually cast a rain spell because it gets old after about the second casting, the one where u have to defend that freaking caravan that kept on moving into enemy fire, and the one with that freaking windmill! can somone please help me with that??? i've tried like 8 times now and what continually happens is that they send out those big ass troll things with clubs and they kill me. i have only one option left to try and thats that i take out my spearmen and keep my horse guys, infantry guys, and archers. Can anyone give me advice???
