i dunno, probs wont ever even rent dmc4, liked the demo, as it is the best demo in the last month, which isnt saying much as the rest were pretty atrocious. So the install time, you HAVE to do that? Thats slightly sucky, you can do the same with UT3, but you have to opt for it, so thats better :P

Wow! I'm in this weeks podcast and mentioned in The Humpday Update a couple times. :)
I have to say I'm starting to warm up to Frontlines MP. I would have joined you guys last night, but my disc drive starting sounding like a paper shredder, so I shut it down (I know, the demo would not have used the drive, but I was ticked off and ready to throw it across the room).

I kinda see the need for just a 4 man squad voice communication in a game with up to 16 people on 1 side. That's quite a few voices talking over one another. Though it does stink when you can't communicate. Maybe there will be Halo-like communication button to talk to the whole team.

To the communication problems, maybe they will designate a squad leader who can talk either to the whole team or to the other squad leaders. Or they can do a proximity talk thing.

If my Xbox will FINALLY let me download it I'll be there. But if not I'll wait for 2-25-08 to play.

I'm pretty sure they're getting the 360 version.

I think the 20 minute install that DMC4 takes on the PS3 is so that it can load [I]at least[I] as fast as the 360 version. The 360's DVD drive can read data at a faster rate than the PS3's BD drive, so without the hard drive installation the loading times on the PS3 version would probably be noticeably longer. Maybe not, though; I'm just guessing.

I am not sure the install time for ps3 devil may cry 4 would bother me if they play a history of all the DMC games while it installs then that is not that bad.

The thing that has annoyed me is that in the uk the ps3 limited edition of DMC 4 is £44.99 the 360 limited edition is £34.99 so the ps3 version is £10.00 more expensive for no reason.

So i will probably get the 360 version rather than buying the game for my ps3.
