I've noticed that when you hit "reply" to add more to message that you've already sent, you message yourself and not that person.

Why would you want to add more to a message? Try saying everything you need to the first time. If it were me, I wouldn't want to have 5 different PMs from someone who didn't take the time to make sure that their message contained all they wanted it to.

I sent a message, several hours passed, and something new came up that needed stateing. Instead of sending a whole other message I chose to just add on to the new one.

Not that any of that matters at all.

I'm just stating that it happens.

Therefor, the bigger question is, why would I ever want to message myself.

I don't know...but after a few hours I don't see how it would be inconvenient to send a new message. I mean, if something else came up then it should constitute a new message, right?

Just open up the last mail you got from that person, click reply, and type in whatever you need to. Or you can manually change the to field yourself. Since you're looking at a message YOU wrote in your outbox, when you reply to the message, you'd be replying to yourself...seems pretty simple to me.

All I'm saying is that it would be nice if it worked like in Tribal Wars (DDL knows what I mean)

Well, messaging yourself can be a good feature, at other forums I've been to, I've messaged myself a bunch of times so I don't forget about something.

I do that too.
E-mail sites are blocked at school, so if I do research in the library and don't want to print out the stuff and pay for it, then I just message the links to myself and print them at home.
