Tony Hawks Underground 1 Soundtrack.
Got me into bands like Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, NOFX, Goldfinger and Mastodon.
The other ones soundtracks are still good, just didn't impact me as much.

I like a lot of the Castlevania tunes.

I would say that my favourite would have to be a tie between SMB3 and Z:OoT.

I love the music from Phoenix Wright. There's a CD of an orchestra playing the music from the games and it's amazing.

I'd have to say either the Halo tune or the Zelda theme. I personally don't like halo all that much, but I think the theme is just epic. I've even got it on my iPod to play whilst playing WoW.

Oh god there are so many songs from videogames that I like, and that phoenix wright orchestra theme is epic. I would have to go with the remixes of songs in SSBB here I'll post a link where you can find all of them, let me tell you some of those songs are epic

If anyone has seen a halo 3 vidoc, in one theyhave a whole, live orchestra doing the music to halo. This stuff isn't just computer generated anymore, and it's awesome. I personally like the last 15-20 seconds of finale in the halo 2 soundtrack. Absolutely epic.

Metal Gear Sons of Liberty theme by a long way. That opening video is amazing!

I also really like Zanarkland from FFX.

5-10: The Pokemon music/ Mega Man music

11-14: Mario/ Zelda

15+: Halo/ any good mood music.

I definately gotta say that my favorite game soundtrack is Zelda. I also love the Final Fantasy music.

Icewind Dale,and alot of other Infinity engine games.they have awsome music.

Aeris' Theme from Final Fantasy VII. The theme used on the MGS 2 opening video is superb too.

Although I'm a huge Nintendo fan, the Zelda theme comes in second to Portal: Still Alive :D

well I don't know were to start but my favorites are the boss theme songs for most of the final fantasy games I played and baten kaitos.

Definitely the Halo 3 soundtrack, but the annoying musicless parts kinda piss me off.

Contra4 has great music! Its about as retro as it gets.

For nostalgia, I'd have to go for Mario. All Final Fantasy music is excellent as well.

halo theme always gets stuck in my head. and in saints row... its not really a theme... but I liked the radio... even if other games(*cough*GTA*cough*) have done it. (conservative talk radio FTW)

I'd have to say that the Zelda and Mario themes bring up the fondest memories. It takes you back to a simpler time when you were young and things were easy.

I love Eyes on me from Final Fantasy VIII, but i also really like the Snake Eater song from Metal Gear Solid 3, it reminds me of a James Bond intro.

The main theme of Halo. Actually, all the music from Halo really....I don't like Halo that much, but i don't think anyone can honestly say that it doesn't have an amazing soundtrack.

Although the Halo games are ridiculously overrated (everything good about them was done years before in Quake, Unreal Tourny and Half-Life), I admit they have damn good music.

My #1 fave at this moment is, of course Still Alive.

well let's see where to begin. Almost all songs in Brawl, some of the pokemon themes from the game, Some of the songs from Super Mario Galaxy were freaking awesome ad epic (the gusty garde galaxy song is awesome). Needless to say there are many awesome VG tunes
