I have to say after picking up RB yesterday, my favorite instrument is definitely the drums, although I have grown on the mic after conquering my fear of singing in front of my friends. What's your favorite instrument?

Love the drums. The guitar is kinda like GH though. Just running through really easy songs. Drums actually give a challenge. The Mic is fun too. I'd like that better than the drums if I could sing....

Yeah, I would probably like the guitar a lot more if I hadn't played so much GH, because now it is just boring. Drums and the mic are a new experience, and I don't really like the RB guitar anyway.

I never played Guitar Hero, and I really like the guitar. Drums are pretty good too, and whenever my friends come over I'm the one playing drums constantly because they're worthless on them (can't finish beginer songs on easy)

IF you really like there guitar then you would probably also have a lot of fun with GH. I just started playing the drums yesterday though so I kinda suck at em still :D

i love the drums... i'm working on getting through on hard (the last set of songs KILLS me) and i can do a few on expert, most notably Maps (leg killer).

Drums, but the mike is fun if you have some close friends nearby.

Mic is what I'm best at. Drums a close second. But in our band, I'm the singer. You know, that guy everyone pays attention to in a band.

I like the guitar best even though the strumming is quite difficult. Compared to the Guitar Hero series guitars. I like the drums, but I'm horrible at them. I don't have much rhythm.

I keep pestering my friend to get a mic stand so I could sing and play drums at the same time, but he won't.
And why did you not include bass? Bass is the greatest instrument on the planet.
I play real guitar in real life, and it's actually weird to play the guitar on Rock Band and GH. I want to move my hands up and down for chords and such, but I can't...

I haven't played GH that much, so I love the guitar, to me it doesn't feel old or boring at all.

Vocals have always been my favorite, but I do like the drums to.

anybody who doesnt say the drums is just kidding themselves . i suck at the drums horribly but i just cant put them down when i play RB . people say guitar because you just want to be different. admit it , you know it's true

personally i think the mic is the most fun! Although a sore throat is a given if you try the endless setlist!! If people weren't so embarassed to sing in front of other people then i think the mic would be the most popular for everyone.

Aren't the last drum songs for hard Like brutal? I got all of them done except the might RttH ( Run to the Hills ). That song is absolutely impossible to me so i decided to skip it and go to expert.

agreed, that's the only song i haven't finished on hard... i'm not even close either... foreplay/longtime, however, is one of my favorites!

If they could just fix the Bass Pedal up (and the Blue Pad) for some people, the drums would be fine. My blue pad broke within 36 hours of me buying the game. 3 weeks later I'm still waiting on my new instruments, cause Play.com took all the other instruments back too, so now I have to use a Singstar mic and a half-broken Guitar Hero 3 controller.

But I digress. My instrument of choice has to be the guitar.

Guitar and vox together. Expert guitar and medium vocals are about perfect.

As for songs, Sex Type Thing, Perfect Drug, Sprode and My Iron Lung are great.

Best of the whole thing though is Hysteria by Muse on expert bass - awesome riff.

Guitar hands down. However, I was surprised to find that I liked singing a lot as well. It can be embarrassing at first, but it is really fun if you play songs that you know. Not singing in front of strangers also helps. I can't stand the drums, the noise that is made while striking each drum with the sticks is just too overpowering.

I love all of them, but my favorite has to be the drums, even tho on the harder difficulties they add so much of the foot pedal that i start to suck at it.
