Okay now I’ve played the Demo on live and I must say… damn that was some freaky ass shit! I mean that in a great way. It feels like a survivor horror game but has pretty good weapon mechanics. I didn’t mess with the hacking ability this time through but I plan on doing it next time. There really seems to be a lot there, granted this is only a demo so I didn’t get to play with too much stuff but yeah I definitely liked the feel of the game. I can’t wait for it to come out. Oh and uhh... the big daddy’s and the little sisters are creepy as hell, just so you know.

I cannot get it to download. I've cleared space on my HDD, but I get to 45% and it just stops... I'll keep trying. I'd like to get some impressions for the podcast tonight. Anyone have any suggestions for downloading it?

It feels like a survivor horror game

This is exactly what I'd feared... anybody else think the same or differently? My 360's not hooked up at the moment (sanding drywall close to where the consoles are normally hooked up -- didn't want to tempt fate, they're all unhooked in the other room).

I've said all along that the game looks gorgeous but nothing really made me want to play it... lately I've gotten more caught up in the eye candy and found myself a little more excited again, but I (personally) don't dig survival horror or "gotcha" games...

That game was truly amazing. I loved the feeling of being in Rapture, the story line is so... real. When you got stuck in a pipe and an Airplane comes crashing through it, then water starts to flood everywhere.

Can't wait for it to come out.

I liked the feel of the game but I also like survivor Horror games but all in all its a shooter first, its just a shooter that is really tense. It doesnt play so much on the "gotcha" part of most horror games... its more of just the over all vibe of the game.

I'm having trouble downloading it, right now it's stuck at 5%. Maybe to many people are downloading it making it download very very slow.

Apparently XBL crashed earlier, supposedly due to everyone and their grandma downloading Bioshock.

Has anyone ever done the xx lb rb xx on the memory tab to do HDD maintenance on their Xbox 360? I was getting an error message while I was trying to download bioshock (error 8007000d, whatever that is) Hopefully the maintenance will fix it.

I loved the demo, I'll probably see what its like on pc and then decide which to get. And mine took hours to download aswell, in fact i gave up and started again in the morning the last 60% came in like 10mins as apposed to the 6 hrs for the first 40 or so. somehthing tells me its gonna be popular.

I liked that too. The whole environment is creepy as hell because you're really just confused about what's happening. At the same time, though, there aren't any parts that were jumpy or over-the-top scary. It just means that I'm unusually on edge while I'm playing.
