I personally like RTS's. Followed by FPS, RPG, and Action/Adventure. I just wanted to know what others thought.

I'm trying to get a poll, but I'm not sure if its working, so just sorry I can't.

RTS for me, followed by RPG then FPS. Fighting is 4th for me, since I've been playing Tekken and Mortal Kombat and the Capcom fighters forever.
But RTS takes the cake. Command and Conquer are my favorite games. Not so much 3, but there's no telling how many hours I spent playing Yuri's Revenge. Plus, I enjoy Supreme Commander, and Battle For Middle Earth series. Age of Empires is also pretty sweet.
I enjoy FPS a lot, but lately, I could care less about them. They're becoming too generic...
RPG is just something I enjoy because I like seeing my character progress and become more and more powerful, like in Oblivion.

I would say FPS, but very closely followed by RTS.

I put fps because that is truly what I play the most but, I love almost every other genre except for trivia. (bah humbug to that)

fps most hardcore gamers I know would most likey like fps

First and third person shooter, rythm (GH/RB), AA and good RPGs.


I was raised playing fighting games but Iv grown to detest them and now I mostly play shooters.

I still love a good platformer. Currently playing N+ on XBLA.

I like first/third person shooters, followed closely by Western RPGs.

I love RTS, they really do get diverse. Warcraft 3, and Sins of a Solar Empire are by far my favorites.

The games that I hate are Fighting/Boxing those are boring. And sports, I used to like it but after EA started releasing game after game of the same stuff just rehashed. I got bored. It was not really their fault other then adding a few graphic improvements and new rules not much else they could do. But non the less I hate playing. Also after not playing for so long I forget the buttons and end up loosing all the time.

I like action (3rd person) games like God of War or Gears of War.
Up next is FPS and the other genres...

Eh I really don't like one specific henre over another, all of them have their strengths and weaknesess

Platformers all the way, gief jak and daxter plx

theres no better thrill than a fantastic fps

FPS, followed closely by RTS.

RPG, action/adventure, puzzle. In that order.

First/third Person Shooters; RPG; Platform; RTS; action/adventure; and Burnout Paradise
I like em all. I play FPS most butt* I couldn't choose.

FPS would be first, RTS second and tie between Action/Adventure and RPG for 3rd.

I really love my FPS been playing them since i was like 6 (well probably not that long but a really long time)
