Agreed. This is the first community I've been a part of, and some of the greatest front-page posts on the net. My vote hands-down is for SG.

Plus I'm a bit biased :D.

In any case, the only other blog I frequent is Kotaku, and I'm not a fan.

SG I like for the forum community and the articles/podcasts. Though I slightly prefer Kotaku simply because they keep me up to date on just about all news that's going on in the gaming world.

SG!!! its hilarious, it gives me news, its comminuty is the best, and the people like Doc Lono Supa Dave ect are actually nice and funny and there isint a SG writer or person in charge that i dont like.

SG of course, it gives me news while at the same time being hilarious and has an amazing community!

I clicked Joystiq, but I didn't see SG on the list. Would have voted for them.

It used to be Kotaku and THEN, the MS Surface parody happened.

I knew the SG folks were special like that.

If you notice, The podcast hosts and writers are very hard on themselves for not being a "big name" in gaming. Yet they count the forum community as "second to none." I respect that.

Also, These guys just want to play games, and have fun. A lot like me.

I agree with Giant Bomb, but ot of that list i chose Joystiq because i really enjoy their news and reviews ad their podcast is awesome.

SG wins this easily. This is the first gaming site that I've been a part of and it's been great so far.

Kotaku would come second though.

I visit most of them but don't really have a favorite, you are bound to see the same information surface on all of the major sites. I personally like the content of the independent blogs, they are the ones that are truly doing it for the love of games.

If I had to pick a mainstream site it would be Giantbomb or Joystiq.

SG bias aside, I selected Joystiq.

The poll would be better if we just assumed that SG would win and instead choose everyone's second favourite gaming blog.

I know this is PURE blasphemy but for me it's not SG.

I have to remember that what got me into looking at Gaming news and discussing it was the blog called Joystiq. I really like how they always give us the latest gaming news and coverage. I continue to check out the blog to this day. :wink2:

However, I really do enjoy reading SG's blog posts with the different stories that make you think and I like the SG spin to them. :thumbsup:
