Does anyone know if Harmonix updated the hardware(drum footpedal, gutair strum bar etc.) for the rockband bundles.
And on a side note Im a huge GH fan so I know what Im getting in to but, do you guys think I should just hold off on Rockband and just get a PS3 instead?

I'd say go for RB but I hope you don't have to go through the return process for the guitar like I have...twice. That box they ship you is a pain in the arse to pack the guitar in.
Actually, you could just use the GH controller and buy the RB game by itself and a drum kit (I think they sell those alone now). If I know my math (and I don't), that might be cheaper. Then you could still save up for that totally-awesome PS3 Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle.

I might try that too. Umm one more question I do NOT have an HD-tv(my parents are paranoid about picture burn despite the fact it's an LCD.) so is my singer going to be able to see the lyrics, I know humming works but that can get boreing.

Of course. It's not like non-HDTVs make it that craptacular.

It doesn't make it look bad it's just hard to read. The text on Halo 3 like subtitiles or how much ammo is in my gun is blurry as hell to see. Dead Riseing was near impossible for me to see.

my drum pedal broke, but EA replaced it within a few days, so they're pretty good with their warranty when their stuff DOES break.

I've played on a regular TV (when visiting my dad) and considering the fact that I'm legally blind, I can still see the words pretty well.
Yeah you can hum but if you get bored with that, try making up your own lyrics. I once turned "Dani California" into a song about downloading music on iTunes, to answering a question my girlfriend was asking me to yelling at my sister for not feeding the dogs. Good times.

Thats a good idea. Is "Hey there Delilah" on RB by any chance?
