Steamworks is just announced by Steam and is used in indie game, Audiosurf. They give acheivements and the betas used in The Orange Box (HL2: Ep 2, Portal and TF2.) What are your thoughts on them?

It has nothing to do with HTML. BBCode is similar to HTML, but it...oh wait. It is pretty much the same, only with []s instead of <>s. Nevermind.

i think its a really cool idea i mean giving small developers tonnes of extra stuff i mean without good beta testing the game can really crash and burn

plus they are in no pressure to then add the game to steam when its finished sorry about the double post...bloody internet

PC Gamer (i seem to be getting all my opinions from PC gamer these days) basically says that this will be the future of PC games sales because apart from all the free utilites and tools it gives developers, it also makes it impossible for 'Day Zero piracy' to happen. Which is when a game is leaked onto the internet before its released.
