After hearing about the Kane-and-Lynching of Turning Point, I decided to take the review into my own hands. So, here it is: my unbiased Turning Point Review:

After all of the hype, all of the ads and all of the pure crap, me and my Alienware PC finally have it: Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty. And I have something to say to all of you who have been waiting for it: Don't. There's nothing new here. IF you have played ANY decent PC game in the past year, skip it. For the 40 bucks it'll run you, you could pick up The Orange Box used, and have ALOT of fun. Hell, you could pick up a Sarcastic Gamer T-Shirt and mouse pad!

To the actual game: The game does some things right. The story is mediocre at best, cheesier than France at it's worst. (the cliff notes read: US doesn't fight in WWII, German wins war, Winston Churchill killed, US invaded by Germany), but the Graphics are actually good (if your computer can run them. They made my CPU chug on the highest setting, and its brand new). But, at the end of the day, the gameplay is what brings it down. The shallow gameplay just KILLS the game. Were it not for the over all gameplay, this game would have been maybe a 7. But, with the bad gameplay and mediocre story make this game a 4.5. Take note: 4.5. Not good in the least.

Thanks for the heads up. The demo sucked big time on 360.

I 'tried' the game courtesy of a friend on his superior rig and it looked okay, but played horribly; even on his Water cooled rig with 2x8800GT SLIed and a E6850 proc plus 4GB RAM....
