Warhawk on the PC sounds great (OBVIOUSLY This probably won't happen. This was just an idea me and a few mates had.) Would it work. Think about the possibilities... 80 player possibility in a small, enclosed section of archipelago. The servers on the PC have the capability for this. It would be brilliant. What do you think?

I think it would be overshadowed by (or at least dragged down by the apparently similarity to) the "Battlefield" games.

Would I like mouse/keyboard control in Warhawk? Hell yeah! Would the game stand out as much on the PC? I don't think so... To be a solid, virtually-lag free 32-player online only game on a console with tons of people always playing is quite an accomplishment. On the PC that's not nearly as big of a deal IMO. That said, I don't think the game would suck any more, I just think the reception would.

Warhawk has definitely benefited from not having a ton of competition on the PS3 in a similar gameplay style (okay, no competition).

As much as I agree, Rothbart, I would welcome it so long as they did at least one of the following...

1) Continual world on the servers... THAT would get me in as a brandnew planetside
2) Crossplatform... GOD IVE wanted that for eons now.

and PLEASE dont let the port come through by SOE.... Sony can do good work, but that branch has proven itself poisonous (Ive watched them wreck planetside, played Matrix Online, AND watched them increase the price of both rediculously).

There's already a rather full market for Battlefield type games, which is what Warhawk is, on PS3 it flourishes because there's no competition but on PC it'd flop.

I don't like Warhawk anyway.

Yup which is the main reason I never bought warhawk. I was in the beta and liked it but after playing Battlefield 2 again on PC I couldn't stand playing Warhawk. Warhawk seems so limited compared to BF 2.
