Have you ever been playing a game and there is somebody sitting next to(who has already beat the game) telling everything that is about to or will happen. They say stuff like "That person is the last boss" or "When you go around the corner there will be enemies" and for some reason you can't make them shut up.

yes, and usually I couldn't care less because I don't pay attention to people when I'm playing games... on that matter I don't pay attention at any time, to anyone. Probably me just being me.

It's called kibitzing and it's a time-honored,sacred tradition.

Yep I know someone who does that... My brother almost took of my head off one day. I don't spoiler the single player but whenever he plays MP we play splitscreen and Ill be fighting three guys and yet I always tell him theres two to his left when he's on the other side of the map. He gets amazed that I can do this and then he hits me in the head. I was just trying to help.

I try not to if i have played a game and my mate is. I may accidentally slip up and give a hint about what to do, but a lot of the time, i unconsciously say stuff like "this bits great" or "you'll like this bit" and then I'll get told that i said it...sometimes, you can't help it.

I hate playing split screen death match most of my friends are total screen lookers, I do it sometimes but one of my friends only watches my screen.

Screen watching is a bitch. Some guy at play.com live was doing it while i was playing rainbow six vegas 2 (the b*****d) and he got a few kills on me for doing it. Grr...

I try not to screen watch. Its so annoying when it happens to you that you don't want to do it back.

None of my friends play games, except 1 who plays WoW :'(

My one friend used to do that all the time. I don't mind if it's gameplay related but if it's related to the story, it really annoys me.

My friend was doing that the first time I played BioShock. I listened to him, but surprisingly, it didn't take much away from the game. He would say stuff like "You're about to see a Big Daddy," but I didn't realize that the Big Daddy was gonna slam a guy into a wall and then through the window I'm standing by. However, he did give away some of the story and that sort of made me mad. I think it ruins the experience of the story line, not actual gameplay.

Sometimes I tell people about the game but only if they ask or are absoulutely terrible at it.
