Over the weekend, I had a chance to sit in on the Harcore Christian Gamer’s Podcast with 9mm Preacher, Beast and Demon Hunter. We talked about Rainbow Six Vegas 2, PSN games, Patapon and Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I can’t recommend the podcast enough. They do extensive reviews, have great audio quality and has the same type of humor that we try for with the Sarcastic Gamer Show. Check it out and tell me how much I suck in the forums!

I've always been a listener of their podcast and it really does have great audio and comedy.

Lol. I like their podcast but it's too long for me. I can't sit at the desk for more than 10 minutes at a time so it would take me 3 days to finish it and by then I would have forgotten the first bit.

Just do what everyone else does, listen to the first 45 minutes and shut it off. Honestly though, we try hard to keep it under an hour and a half and I think we got it down-pat but when we do fun things like bring Lono into the show it's that much more to talk about and we go longer.

Good fun though, glad you listened to a little bit anyway.

@Doc: Sounds like jealousy to me...

@everyone else: I listened to the rest of the show, even after I was off of it, (I know, shocker!) but they have an interview with one of the Gamecock devs on Pirates vs. Ninja, and honestly, I'm kind of interested in trying it out now...

I think I will give this a try, I was reluctant to try out Sarcastic Gamer after listening to the Video Games Show and basically listened to the entire backlog of shows in a couple of days (yeah I know, there are more productive things -actually, are there less productive things to do?). Maybe I should just jump straight in.

I listened to the whole thing.
Ok, I lied. I listened to most of it, probably an hour and a half, but then after Lono left, I sorta skipped like a half hour lol. I must say, you got my hopes up when you said you talked about super smash bros. brawl, because i thought you were going to say something GOOD about it, but then i listened and i was disappointed (no, i do not wear a helmet on the playground, and no, i do not wear a tin hat on the playground :tongue:).

Great podcast anyways.

I remember hearing Lono say "If you wear a helmet on the playground, you like Smash Bros." while we were playing Vegas on Friday.

So I guess I'm wearing a helmet from now on.

I think he means Smash Bros. it the epitome(sp?) of a game selling of of name recognition alone. If you replace the characters with original ones, the game would have gotten a 6 or 7 tops.

I suggest listening to ep 48, 49 and 51. those episodes really showcase the show off and are some of the best to date.
