From the Teamxbox forums (don't worry, it's PC-related, so it belongs down here), my plea for some help:
Well, for a book talk I'm going to be doing tomorrow, I need an alternate bookcover, as a visual aid. The book that I'm doing this over happens to be one called Alas, Babylon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alas%2C_Babylon), and it involves a post-apocalyptic survival scenario.

Since the actual nuclear war takes place around halfway through the book, I figure it can be the central theme for the bookcover. The only game that I can think of that can establish awe in looking at a nuclear blast is Call of Duty 4's chopper crash scene, after that small tac-nuke is set off in the city, and you crawl out of the chopper only to find a gigantic mushroom cloud staring you in the face.

I've been searching with no success for around two hours on this, and I was wondering if any of you PC players of the game have a screen-cap of staring at the mushroom cloud, while showing the decimated town in the foreground?

I can't exactly help you with this specificly, but if you don't manage to see a COD4 screen shot,
You could always go on youtube or something and fine video's from Crysis's nuke explosions from the tech demo of the game.
(the nuke explodes and shatters a small building which you see in the video) That could always work for you if need be.

(At around the 2:52 mark)

Hope this helps mate.

The problem is that it just doesn't give the factor of awe as that one scene of CoD4 does, at least to me. But, I'll give it a try as a plan B if this doesn't come through.

That is as big a resolution I can get.

If you need a better quality one, I can take another SS with graphics maxed out to see if it is better.

That was as maxed out as I could get on a Q6600, 8800GT SLI rig.
