maybe, we won't know till in-game xmb is released, an article came out a couple weeks ago about microsoft owning the patent to a certain way music is played while in a game, so no one knows whether sony can legally do custom music or not

would suck if they couldn't but i guess there are some more important things that they could fix first. i always wanted to have acess to my music in game tho especially for racers and things liek that.

MLB 08 The Show lets you make custum sountracks wit music from ur HDD, so I dont know why music on the in-game XMB would be a problem.

It would probobly be a sort a stripped down version of the XMB w/ friends list (and messaging), maybe video, and music. Possibly chat (would be nice). But the big stuff like the internet would probably be left out. A full in-game XMB would be surprising to me (but cool).
