Chemical_Burn 08-30-2007, 12:29 PM From reading the front page I'd say most of them are hooked on the 360. Hence why there is more threads in there then the PS3 & Wii sections combined.

I hope that doesn't surprise you? 360 is by far the best console to be playing on right now.
The 360 will dominate my life from now until after Halo 3 comes out and then Wii will take it over when Mario and SSBB are released (if there is online play for it, if not then it's worthless).
I'll agree though, this site is definitely 360 oriented...for now, but like I said there is good reason for that. I'm sure it will even out sooner or later...if Sony ever gets their act together that is.
Chemical_Burn 08-31-2007, 02:21 AM Mario and SSBB are released (if there is online play for it, if not then it's worthless).
Well im surprised you guys haven't noticed but Wii already has 2 online compatible games (Yes I realize how sad that sounds considering how long its been out.) Mario Strikers, and that Pokemon game. SSB:B will surely be online as well.

Mikey 08-31-2007, 06:18 AM Yeah, its definetly gonn have it.
Yousty 08-31-2007, 01:11 PM Sorry guys, but Nintendo has not come out and confirmed that it will have online play. They have actually avoided the question every time somebody has asked them. Strikers brought the Nintendo network to it's knees when it came out so imagine what a release like SSBB would do. I know that they're trying to get it working online flawlessly but I'm gonna be holding my breath until Nintendo confirms it because I know how behind Nintendo is when it comes to online gaming.
Mikey 08-31-2007, 03:02 PM Iwata said on the day they announced brawl, that it he promised it would have online, so its confirmed, but it could he could change his mind. Its just like a release date. The original plan could be 2.2.2008, but something could happen and it get moved to 3.18.2008 (BIRTHDAY). Just depends on how things go. But it is confirmed.

Well I still have hopes for Nintendo to get it up and running great. They got 3 months left to work on it, Ill gladly accept a delay if it means its better worked on for online play. Even if Nintendo currently lacks anything online, I do hope if they have even 1 online game that it be SSB:B.
P.S. If anyone doesn't know (and probly not) the Gamecube does have about 2 or 3 actual online games. Shocking? of course... did many people know about it? clearly not. So they do have even to the minimal of experiance with online console gaming. Personally I just hope they don't **** up badly =(.
Mikey 09-02-2007, 08:47 AM Nintendo will not mess up their number 1 game, I promise you.
Lono_Lives 09-02-2007, 12:49 PM Nintendo is so far behind in online play it is laughable. Maybe the Wii2 will have consistent, easy to use, and fun online play for all games? who knows. they dropped the ball on this on day one.
Mikey 09-02-2007, 01:10 PM What makes you say they are behind on online.
Online titles for '07 (Some could be early '08)

Where are you getting this list from? There has been nothing to say Rabbids 2 will be online. In fact the developers have said that the only online capability might be the ability to trade rabbids. There has been nothing else announced.
Nothing mentioned anywhere about Smash Brothers being online.
Animal Crossing hasn't had anything released about it besides it being announced.
Same with Sonic and Mario at the Olympics
Actually the more I look at your list the more I am convinced that you took multiplayer to mean online play. It doesn't.
But what makes us say they are behind being online?
1) Developers have said they would love to include online play, but Nintendo won't let them.
2) Friend codes.
3) Slow online network (Mario Strikers Lags often, and no it's not my network).
4) Friend Codes.
5) Lack of a Ethernet port on the machine.
6) Friend Codes.
7) Old weather info.
8) Friend Codes
9) Not being able to view videos of the VC games from in the shop channel.
10) Did I mention friend codes?
Spudnik 09-04-2007, 12:21 AM Nintendos online seems more gimmicky than anything. I mean why would I want the weather? Also about web surfing, I doubt that anyone with a wii doesn't have a computer. Why would youe want to use the wii when you have a computer. Nintendo seems to be throwing all this stuff out there and forgetting the main purpose for online capabilities in games-----MULTIPLAYER!!!
Mikey 11-24-2007, 03:12 PM Just thought I would bring this thread back, because...I dont really have a reason actually. I do notice that 2 months back It seems as though I couldnt type correctly.
