Lord Butters I

I saw Doc's article on the front page and I just couldn't believe that there are people who take the man seriously anymore. Read between the lines people: Rockstar and Take Two are underhanded enough to use reverse media to advertise their games, and they're doing it as I type! Look, they did it with Manhunt 2: They put rediculously graphic stuff in the game to get an AO and freak out the media, plastering Manhunt 2 across every news site known to man and scoring an absolutely astounding amount of advertising.
That's what the lawyer everyone loves to hate is: An advertiser. He's employed by Take Two under the table to constantly bash, hate on, and pronounce the evil of Rockstar's games, and in the process getting said games infinitely more advertising then if they had spent that money on sidebars on 1up or something.
JT openly declared his love for the EA takeover of T2 to take advantage of his powerful anti-motivation. People hate Jack Thompson, so by extention they hate what he loves. T2 realized that if their media puppet could cast some negitive publicity on the attempt at hostile takeover then fewer people would accept the deal. Don't tell me that at least one person didn't sell their stock because of spite.
Thompson blames things like Virginia Tech and other tragedies on video games to reinforce the hatred most people feel towards him. If he makes an ass out of himself the way he did several times, people will hate him more and therefore his negitive push will carry more weight.
Hell, the SG team themselves said it: "Everytime you sue Rockstar and act so rightous and bizare, they sell a million copies of the game." And Jack's to blame. He's the most powerful advertising tool Rockstar has at their disposal.
