Rothbart regarding SOE you are spot on.

The idea that any game will allow richer people to just go out and buy an advantage over others is wrong, games should have a level playing field. It's just a scheme to milk more profit from the lazy at the expense of others. Gaming should be about skill and not how big your bank account is.

SOE in recent years have lost the plot, mainly due to great envy over the success of WoW. Everything they touch turns into crap and they don't care about their customers. John Smedley (SOE President) is also a liar with no integrity.

Actually, let them do whatever they want. Their name is so tarnished in the MMOPG world that it doesn't really matter.

Good show guys and just for the record you can keep MGS4, Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 (not saying they are bad games but its not like I don't have enough FPS's on my 360 to last me a lifetime) but L.B.P. is the game I will buy a PS3 for - As soon as I figure out how I'm going to afford it. (How much do they give for a kidney these days? - I got one of those spare.)

Yep. I bet you didn't know the American Idol finale was recorded that long ago either... it's tricky with the voting and everything... and Frawlz was actually there... counting votes for them. :wink2:

LBP is my Game of the year for sure, and (Was it G4? I can't remember) said that the KillZone 2 demo they played was very linear. They said it was very same old, same old. You know shoot here, duck here, reload, pick up new gun, etc.

But I'm still looking forward to K2 though.

Hmm, I'm still a little cautious with killzone 2, with this haze thing, and also with the original killzone, which got as much hype as this and still sucked.
LBP looks great though, really different. What the market needs.

I've had one person get so close I ended up spilling the beans to them but they didn't exactly get it right (on their own). No word on who it was or what I told them... I'm still waiting for someone to guess it. :roll:

N+ is a 4 player co-op platformer with a very simple yet robust level editor for the XBLA and I believe there is a free flash version for PC. LBP seems like N+ on a much bigger scale which is the main reason why I can't wait for it. N+ is awesome.

I didn't have any problems with it but the connection speed really depends on how good of connection the host has.

It sounds like there will be, but I'm not sure it'll be as wide spread as "anyone that wants in gets in"... we're just going to have to wait and see.

I'm not at all worried that I am being overzealous calling LittleBigPlanet GOTY. I was really impressed by the latest gameplay footage. Seriously, if LBP was a lady, we'd be engaged already...just waiting till release day to tie the knot.

Sure some of the other big titles coming this year look great too, but not one has hit me like LBP.

Its not really cheating to buy guns they sell in a game its jsut using your money badly.

Yeah, but if these weapons are more powerful, it can put a bit of bias on the whole thing; the richer players end up as the best ones because of their armoury. Also, I'm not sure if LBP will quite be Game of the Year; MGS4 is still up there as mine.

Then again, with GTA IV and the like out there too, maybe we should have all 3 as game of the year? :lol:

I hate the idea of someone getting a better advantage because they have more money or have a larger game budget. I would be ok with something like a different skin for a gun or a skin to make your char look like batman or space ghost or something but to give someone the advantage is not right. I suppose it would be ok if they did something like give an uber sniper rifle but make it shaky as hell so it take uber precision to aim with the damn thing.
