Technically its not memory, its hard drive space. In its simplest sense, memory is how many programs can be run at the same time, and had drive space is how much room there is for storing files. You can get 1TB hard drives, but not 1TB of memory IN MAINSTREAM CONSUMER COMPUTERS. Memory = RAM
