doh! I think that was my fault and I think that explains a question I had about something else... I think I "tagged" the post with one too many tags...

Of course it was a great show. I got mentioned. So what if I'm an egotistical, self-centered, S.O.B.?

Size Matters on the PSP = Good
Size Matters on the PS2 = Not Good

Neither were made by Insomniac though...

Good show but I dont think piracy is the main reason most people turn to custom firmware or why they want homebrew for PS3. Homebrew on any platform helps unlock the full potential of the platform. Homebrew devs have made tons of great free and legal programs for the PSP that are far better than everything sony adds in its firmware updates. Its the same with the iphone/touch. People use homebrew because It gives them tons of useful free apps. There is no piracy involved in homebrew for ipod touch/iphone users but homebrew on both those devices is very popular.

People want PS3 homebrew because they see all these awesome features devs made for the PSP or even the iphone/touch and imagine how sweet homebrew apps would be for a console as powerful as the PS3. Linux is nice but since it doesn't have access to most of the PS3 hardware and for most gamers its too hard to install, it doesn't really work as a viable homebrew solution.

Oh I didn't say they wanted customer firmware so they could pirate, I simply said they did pirate... there was some interesting discussion that didn't make the final cut on the topic where Pacman went from unconvinced to convinced that it's a real "issue" to watch out for.

Frankly, I'll take my chances with the blanket accusation that anyone running custom firmware has played a pirated game because I think I'll be right 99.9% of the time... with most (if not all) of those telling me they don't/haven't being liars.

Ya your right but for me anyway I pirated PSP games becuase prices are crazy(GTA Viced City Stories was $49.99) plus running a game from a memory stick is 100x better than from the UMD drive. And you can clock your psp up to its max CPU processing power(333Mhz) to help games run alot smoother since most games run at the lowest so the battery lasts longer.

If the new metal gear games has the same type of gameplay then it will be worth my 59.99 to keep playing the tactical espionage action even if snake will not be in it.

Love the show, keep up the great work! Episode 5 was the first I listened to, love it! And thanks for not having shitty sound quality. There is nothing worse then listening to a podcast that sounds like it was recorded in a metal garbage can rolling around some back alley!

PSN ID: Shaha44
hit me up for some COD4

 Don't mess with me man... we were recording in a metal garbage can rolling around the back alley! Are you telling me that sound didn't come through?!?! Dave's gonna pay for this... he cleaned up the audio again... :wink2:

Every time we try to fit in, he sabotages us by removing the bad parts of our recordings, cleaning up the audio, adding promos, intros, sweeps, etc.
