This has really put me in a bad mood (so maybe I need to get a life).
With only one original cast member (and only an extra at that)a sequel to Donnie Darko (http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/872/872860p1.html)is currently in the works. The original writer/director is not involved and neither is arguably the person who made the film what it was - Jake Gyllenhaal.
This is arguably the lowest Hollywood can stoop too in order to make a profit.
Now is there anyone who thinks this is a cool idea? Does anyone even remember Samantha Darko?

Rumor has it a sequel to Gladiator is next...;)

they killed the main character off but I got the feeling everyone remembered what happened in the end so I can see this sister going just as nuts and having the power

depends on how they go w/ the movie... if it's years later then yeah you'll have to use a different cast... samantha was the one in sparkle motion right?

I guess they want the word Darko to dominate. It is only a pre-production poster to encourage financing companies to back the film so it could change.
I agree though, S. Darko is, to be blunt, crap.
