Broken TVs, bruises, and swords through the stomach, we all know what can happen when using your Wii goes wrong. As you flail your arms around like a madman sometimes things and/or people can get hurt.

Nintendo has released the fourth installment of its safety strap series, and they want all Wii users to have it. They want them to have it so badly; they are willing to give them away for free. That's right...gratis! As you all know I love things that are free. Even though I don't have a Wii, I want some of these. For what, I have no idea.

Go to Nintendo.com for details and have your consoles serial number close by. They will provide four straps per console to make sure you have adequate protection. If you have a Wii, you had better get on this before someone gets hurt, again.

This is a step in the right direction to ensure the safety off all Wii players, their friends, family and belongings. Good job Nintendo.

Do you protect your Wii? Tell us how on the forums

Sadly these wii straps will not prevent my dumb ass siblings from hitting the TV. My sister was playing Wii golf, and she got too close and hit the TV, Wii Golf!!

What the heck is the difference between the fourth installment straps and the free replacement ones I got like 6 months ago?

Did you hear about the little girl that got impaled with a Wii controller? It happened in Japan or somewhere close.

"I'm sure making boring games since release was nintendo's way of protecting thier customers from making an ass of themselves!"
-or-
"you be surprised what resolution you can get from a busted T.V."
-or-
"The only way to be truly safe is abstinence."
-or-
"Microsoft would have done better, If you did bust your T.V., your xbox would record that as an unlocked achievement"

...I came, I saw, I ranted
