Shane86 06-15-2008, 11:55 AM I wouldn't know..not really the Scene It info expert. Then why did you post  No there won't be any new questions. viatrophy 06-15-2008, 11:56 AM From a quick google search, there isn't any plans for a sequel, unfortunately. I hope they do add to the game, it was great fun. I wouldn't know..not really the Scene It info expert. Wasn't exactly any point in replying really considering it was of no use at all.. Shane86 06-15-2008, 12:00 PM Wasn't exactly any point in replying really considering it was of no use at all..90% of his posts are like that :undecided: Elven6 06-15-2008, 12:40 PM I heard their were plans for some sort of expansion to the series, weater it is a new game or DLC. AcesHigh4895 06-15-2008, 12:42 PM There might be downloadable content in th' future on Xbox Live. DeathByWaffle 06-15-2008, 01:16 PM 90% of his posts are like that :undecided: Well thank you Shane, good to know you got my back there. I have not personally heard anything about new Scene It questions, but I have a question myself... Is that game any good? I was thinking about picking it up just for fun when I am bored. viatrophy 06-15-2008, 01:23 PM Well thank you Shane, good to know you got my back there. I have not personally heard anything about new Scene It questions, but I have a question myself... Is that game any good? I was thinking about picking it up just for fun when I am bored. Its a game more meant for party's and families. I've played it on my own before and found it very boring. Elven6 06-15-2008, 01:55 PM There's a demo up on marketplace so you can try it for yourself. lazarus585 06-15-2008, 01:58 PM There might be downloadable content in th' future on Xbox Live. Unfortunatley not, the game is not live enabled, the only option is a new game. I'm not sure who exactly came up with the idea, but it was'nt smart, After a few games the same questions start cropping up, everyone knows the answers and the game gets pegged for trade in. This is probably the reason Scene It is only £20 brand new now. lazarus585 06-15-2008, 02:08 PM Its still $60 here :undecided: It must be more popular in the states. Shane86 06-15-2008, 02:11 PM $40 / £20 here :D http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-dw-49-en-15-SCENE-70-2e0z.html Chexd 06-15-2008, 02:15 PM Yeah I really loved this game too. There might be downloadable content in th' future on Xbox Live. Sadly there will not be any downloadable content. The game as not been programmed with that in mind and therefore it cannot be implemented. The box sadly does not say "XBL Support" either. I dont think the game did too well financially though. Elven6 06-15-2008, 04:59 PM It sold really well apparently, I can't find the exact article but Microsoft said something along the lines of "the sales have warranted Scene It! a series" or something like that. Maybe they didn't bother with Live because they had no idea how well it would have done, but they know now so think of this like Microsoft's answer to Buzz. Puddle 06-15-2008, 05:20 PM The game is meant to have thousands of questions that change each time you play the game. I bought it to try and get my girlfriend interested in the Xbox. It worked for about a week before the interest wore off. the 6th degree 06-16-2008, 01:38 PM Yeah I really loved this game too. Sadly there will not be any downloadable content. You're kidding me - this would be perfect for DLC. Especially if they teamed up with some movie studios - for example, to tie in with the new James Bond this year, they could release a 007 edition..... Or on other topics. The morons. Elven6 06-16-2008, 03:10 PM Does a game have to be Live enabled for it to have DLC? Shane86 06-16-2008, 03:10 PM Does a game have to be Live enabled for it to have DLC?Yeah or it couldn't be downloaded. Chexd 06-16-2008, 03:24 PM Or on other topics. The morons. Yeah thats what I was thinking! I'l try and dig the article up if I can find it. Elven6 06-16-2008, 05:17 PM Yeah or it couldn't be downloaded. Tons of "offline" games have a spot on the XBLM AcesHigh4895 06-16-2008, 05:40 PM But you have to be "online" to buy and d-load them. Mallico 06-16-2008, 07:45 PM I was actually looking into getting this game soon, I tried the demo and it seemed okay. How many questions are there though? I don't need an exact number or anything. I just don't want to start hitting repeats after a couple games. the 6th degree 06-17-2008, 01:55 AM I was actually looking into getting this game soon, I tried the demo and it seemed okay. You can go for quite a while - I think there are probably over a thousand easily. Whats good is that it remembers which questions its asked you, so as long as you play under the same gamertag all the time, you shouldn't get any/many repeated questions. Before I run out and buy it though I have one more question. Do the questions have a good range between newer and older movies? the 6th degree 06-19-2008, 03:52 PM That sounds great, thanks. Before I run out and buy it though I have one more question. Do the questions have a good range between newer and older movies? Yep - from 1950's to current. DeathByWaffle 06-19-2008, 06:59 PM I feel sorry for the guy who had to come up with those questions. Why? He got to watch a bunch of movies along with whoever else was on the project. That wouldn't be so bad. Chexd 06-20-2008, 12:05 PM My only criticism is the video clip questions. They are more like a "watch and remember" rather than a movie quiz. Mallico 06-22-2008, 01:02 AM My only criticism is the video clip questions. They are more like a "watch and remember" rather than a movie quiz. Yeah they had those in the Harry Potter Scene It DVD game, so annoying. PrimevilKneivel 06-22-2008, 06:19 PM My only criticism is the video clip questions. They are more like a "watch and remember" rather than a movie quiz. I disagree, sometimes the questions have no relevance to the clip itself. Like who directed this film? How many oscars did it win? etc. I like the balance, sometime you need to count all the objects, or remember how many times a word was said and other times it's general knowledge about the film itself. I've heard rumor that there is a popculture version coming out, I'll be happy if they support it with more versions /content. I like using the big button controller for games like that, I'd like to see more stuff using it like "you don't know jack" or "jeprody". |
