If I did not need my COD4 skills in top form (lol) Id play.

I played it but I find it strange that there is one gametype that does not use snipers...its called "splasers" or something like that...

From what I've played the weapons are: Sniper Rifle, Pistol, Spartan Laser, Shotgun.

I do like the beam rifle for no scoping though, it is easier for some reason to me :lol:

Yeah, I think most people do. It's just cool to get a one hit kill from way away. Not that I am good with the sniper or anything becuase I kind of suck at it. BUT it's still fun.

I played my first sniper match earlier, went pretty well.
I am downloading the Heroic Map Pack right now.

I am gonna be terrible at Halo 3 because I have been playing CoD4 for a while with the Lightning Clan. I'll give it a shot though.

The Heroic Map pack is free, but the Legendary Map Pack still costs money and is required :(
I don't really want to spend money to buy more points for it. It is pretty dumb that the map pack is required, I don't understand why it couldn't just be like CoD4 and take out the maps you don't have from the rotation.

Still, but you do have to admit what I said was true, and the way they set it up too MAKE you download the map pack to play is really dumb.

I could not agree more. And here is the kicker. Once you download the map pack, half of them never come up. I spent all night last night playing on freaking "narrows" and "Last Resort". Over, and over, and over, and over......

I was playing a lot of Team Slayer, and I think only one Heroic Map ever came up.

It's not dumb, it's clever. They want us to spend money on their maps, so it makes sense. It just sucks for us.

Thats what I meant. I think it is a stupid idea if you want to keep fans, but from a financial point of view it is a good idea.

Yeah, marketing tends to ruin gameplay at times.
