Some of you may have already heard about this site, but I cant help but post this here. This site may at first make you dizzy or drowzy from all the fanboyizm there. Even PS3 owners posted that this site gives them a bad name. There news is outlandish and stupid, once you get used to it, it actually becomes quite funny and amusing. Its great for a laugh. I was a frequent poster on there forums (Which is practicly over run by xbox fans) until I got my IP Address banned :cool:............

I've thought for a long time about how SDF could be so incredibly stupid. This was after I read their Bioshock review when it first came out.

I've personally decided that the site is just a parody to make fun of PS3 fanboys. I mean, there is no way in hell that someone is that biased that they don't even realize how bad they twist the truth.

The moment I realized that everything became hilarious at the site. Good place to go for cheap laughs.

I dont think there fake, cause I just went to the forums and they have the Halo 3 spoilers posted at the front of the page, I accidentally read the first 2 things they posted. Im spoiled a little:(. I f they were a joke, they would have never posted that there. Dont go to there forums, I repeat stay away from there forums!! :mad:

They're a "joke" in the sense that they can't be taken seriously. SDF has been overrun with people pretending to be Pro-Sony but in actuality have their fun make "fake" or "outrageous" claims on behalf of Sony. In a very, very small way I can appreciate that. What I can't appreciate is the constant disregard for facts coupled with the constant slamming where it's not always warranted.

I would much rather be a part of a community like SarcasticGamer where we're occasionally able to step back and make fun of someone besides Sony. Occasionally... :D

The "real" guys that started SDF have moved on and anyone that was there to really protect and promote the positives of the PS3 are probably now working with the Sony Protection Group (forced to change their name to avoid the humiliation that goes with SDF). Personally I would've picked something that had the acronym SBD (maybe Sony Battle Department?) for added effectiveness.

And this is why I love this site. We can go one monument saying PS3 has no games, to Wii is for kids, to making fun of the 360's red rings of death.

Show me anything from the last 6-9 months on that site that is remotely credible/serious. It's about the equivalent of me saying I'm the 360's biggest fan and then describing how even when the 360 has problems, the flashing red lights are so beautiful that's it's worth it. They're an intentional mockery designed to do the exact opposite of the immediate impression you get when you first run across them. While I don't think they started out that way, that's the way they've been run for the last 6-9 months. The people who were "legitimately" involved in the movement have moved on to form the Sony Protection Group (which I honestly know very little about other than the fact that they got tired of being associated with the SDF asshats and moved on).

So I repeat, anyone taking SDF seriously at all over the last 6-9 is a bit misguided and really shouldn't be giving these guys any attention. That's what they want.

I dont go to the site anymore, but the way that they attack the 360 they should be The Sony Attack Force, it semed that all they did was bash the 360 and give no real news about the PS3.

Actually if you think about it, its geniuos. They attracted so many people to their site by bashing on the 360 in ridiculous ways that word got out across the interwebz, and everybody wanted to see it. And there posts were so outlandish that people couldnt help but participate in commenting on them.

The people who blog at Sony Defense Force are so delusional. Like on the first page in this topic, they had to put in "Sony Family" against Xbox 360, Wii, and DS in order for it to win. It's so stupid it's not even funny.

What exactly do you expect from a thread about the Sony Defence Force on a site called SarcasticGamer.com?

It's a site meant to be slightly inflammatory to get people riled up and talking (laughing along the way) discussing a site that's meant to be very imflammatory to get people riled up (and hating Sony via reverse psychology). The people that don't see through this are the brunt of the joke.

If you're just exposed to SDF for the first time, it's an easy enough mistake to make. But after you read two or three posts and haven't already dismissed them as being "real", well, I'm not sure what to say.

I'm a PS3 fan and I stay the hell away from there... because I know nothing good can come from going there.
