If you are getting ANYTHING by valve, you are getting Steam.

That said, that very marketplace is worth it alone.... and I speak as someone who uses Xfire almost exclusively as my messenger.

Yeah, this group definitely needs way more activity, I would consider paying for a server (once I get a form of income) if that will make it more active. Also then we could have TF2 gamer nights

If you haven't checked it out yet, download the Minerva mod on Steam. It is seriously the best mod i've played for the source engine. The guy really knows a thing or two when it comes to level design, which you'll realize once you've played for a few minutes. Valve actually hired this guy after he released the mod, if that tells you anything.

I got steam a week or two ago. Unfortunately I have 2 accounts (got distracted whilst making the account). So I only have one game on my useless account (world of goo - got it for just 5p in a deal).

My normal account is mpcheese though and I should be downloading Killing Floor later today and will eventually get round to getting around to downloading the Valve Complete Pack when I put enough money on.

We either need to create a new Steam Group (or join the one at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/sarcasticClan ), or have the admin powers of this group moved to an active member. Volkov hasn't been on the forums since August of 2008, and hasn't been on Steam in an extremely long time.

Forgot the password to my normal account so it's now SG_Cheese.

I'm new to steam (was forced into it by MW2) and it's not bad. I'll be playing later today so I'll make sure to join the group first. Anyone else up for some COD in about 5 hours or so?
