I bought a fancy adapter for ma 360 and it won't connect to Live. When testing out the connection it will go all the way to DNS then fail. I have entered about 5 various DNS #'s and it still won't work. Any thoughts? Where's DDL?

You need the "official microsoft wireless network adapter of greatness". Nothing else will work.

Not true.Ok let me rephrase, it's the only usb adaptor that'll work, if it connects through ethernet it will work though.

Do not worry, I have had this happen to myself a couple of times and every time I have gotten it to work. You should be able to get your DNS from your ISP (internet service provider) so contact them for an ip address, or, maybe, you can just google your ISP's name and DNS server (ie. google: comcast dns server).

But if you are still having problems what is your setup? ISP, router, etc? I have more experience with Apple products though.
Hopefully that helps!
Cheers.

Does your router/modem have a MAC filter on it? If so, you'll have to add the 360's MAC address to its allow list. Though if you personally set up the wireless network, I doubt this is the problem.

Try changing your routers channel to 1 or 11.
