Get this: NO widescreen, NO online, NO Missions mode (the best thing about the original game imo).

What an extremely lazy port this is, I'll save my money for Soul Calibur 4 so.

Which is what they want you to do anyway. Well done with that sticking it to the man!

I would considering buying this, but I definitely won't be now.

I have never played any of the Soul Caliber games, but I have always wanted to...

Looks like I wont be getting this one though.

According to IGN the reason why it doesn't have any of that stuff is because when the game was being made the XBLA size cap was 150mbs. They did give you all the unlocks from mission mode tho which is nice. $10 for the greatest weapon based fighting ever made is a steal.

Save your money for Soul Calibur IV. This port is going to suck anyway.

No kidding. Buying it for the dreamcast can get as expensive as a new release on the 360 or PS3.

This is based on Soul Cailbur in the arcade, not the dreamcast version =). The no multiplayer is what messes it up the most.

Its actually ported from the Dreamcast version just minus the mission mode. Practice, Survival, vs mode, extra survival, Time attack, Team battle, etc is all in as well as all the extra weps for all the characters.

I'm torn coz I agree with both of these statements. Great game and still good value but the mission mode was the best bit. Undecided if I'll buy it or not considering that I'll probably but SC4. :undecided:

guys... I just bought this, and I've got to say. This game is terrific. The graphics are WAY better than the arcade version, and it plays extremely smoothly. It's incredibly fun to play. Like, the graphics are as good/better than Sould Calibur II (GC version is what i played). Get the demo and try for yourself.
