I remeber this game, it was Soooooooooooo much fun, it was actually my first PS2 game. The last level was really freakin hard though. Does anyone remember it? I really hope they make a sequel........I doubt it though:(

Hell yeah, followed closely by Battlefront 1 and 2. I bought the version of Bounty Hunter with the limited edition cover art. I think it's a great game. Though anything canonical in the SW universe gets a thumbs up from me. :D

I forgot about Battlefront series. Star Wars does have some really good games.

Bounty Hunter was a pretty decent action game. Bounties kept you replaying levels. Some of the bosses seemed overpowered, especially the last one.

But, jeez, star wars has some of the best video games ever. Rogue Squadron for the Gamecube was magnificient, KOTOR revolutionized the RPG and added so much to the Star Wars EU. Battlefront was okay. Battlefront 2 had better controls, but some of the maps seemed downgraded to me. I'm waiting patiantly for a next gen Battlefront III.

yes, I agree that some of the bosses did seem overpowered, but I thought the last boss was really easy.

I never played Bounty Hunter... but I do have fond memories of Jedi Knight 2. Definitely some true classics...

Guys, these are all class games, but im surprised none of you mentioned Republic Commando... this game is well positioned in the group of great star wars games as well.

Republic Commando was meh, it had 3 very long levels which was annoying. And the gun play was mediocre. Its ok, I ended up buying it.

I loved Republic Commando. The stretched out levels were a bit annoying, but everything else about the game was executed very well. It's biggest drawback is that it didn't bring anything new to the table and just borrowed from other established FPS's. It's still one of my favorite Star Wars games though.

I will agree that KoToR takes the cake as the best Star Wars game though. BioWare does an excellent job when it comes to storytelling. It's a shame I won't get the chance to play Mass Effect. That's the only game that could make me consider buying a 360.

I really liked Republic Commando, played well and was a good remake of other games. A little short for my liking.

Republic commando was awesome while it lasted, Iespecially like the whole 'visor' effect. That said, it was too short and didn't really have any replay value.

KOTOR - one of the best games ever in my opinion. Never saw that twist coming...That game was one of the few which actually surprised me. Now KOTOR 2 on the other hand...well, it was a good game but you could tell who you'd be fighting at the ending; and the ending just sucked with all those loose ends. I still don't feel as if I've actually completed that game.

I'm showing my old PC roots but nothing beats X-wing or Tie Fighter back in the day. For me it just doesn't get any better than flying a X-wing with the Star Wars music in the backgrounds as you blow up tie fighters just out of the reach of a Star Destroyer.

But for consoles, I have to go with KOTOR as being the best Star Wars game.
