Kotaku, known for being as wrong as it is right, has posted an article about The Last Guy. In it, they report that it's a game that uses Google Earth maps, overlaying simple icons to represent you and a giant zombie epidemic where you must lead survivor icons to safety.

They post an image of a Japanese magazine article that shows map images in it.

I am excited about the zombies, zombies kick ass! Speaking of zombies, how I wish Left For Dead was also coming to the PS3.

Valve would let EA do L4D and maybe suck at it.

How would this work your in tokyo and you kill zombies?

If one of the PS elite devs picked L4D up it would rock! Imagine if Criteron (EA owned) had a stab (pun intended !) at converting it! Or what about Naughty Dog or Insomniac (Insomniac could use the Res2 engine!)?

Just a shame that Valve can;t be bothered with the PS3 (I wonder if they will change their minds when PS3 gains more ground? Or when they workout the 360 and PC are a pirates whoring ground and the PS3 remain un-hacked)

Anyhoo just blows is all :)

Cheers
