Will stores be buried in used copies of Crackdown following the end of the Halo 3 Beta?

The prices at my local EB have already begun to drop on used Crackdown. They went from 2 used copies to 11 in a week! A cool 5 bucks cheaper already, and the Halo 3 Beta body isn't even cold yet.

For those of you living under a rock, Crackdown came bundled with access to the Halo 3 Beta, giving gamers a sneak peek at the highly anticipated third chapter of the Halo series. Now that the beta's over, it looks like a big reward could await those that waited for this inevitable phenomenon.

From now on, I am going to hold off on buying any games leveraged with a limited-time beta until the beta is over. Hey! Every dollar counts!

I give it another month before the game is retailing (new) for $29.99 and used for much less...

cool cuz I rented it and got like 75% of the way thru before it was due back. Not paying 60 bucks to finish 25% of a game.

Blockbuster was still selling it used for $49.99... what a bargain. :-/
